phpの開発でLaravelを使うことになり、 初めて使うこともあって、インストール方法など諸々をまとめます。

バージョン

phpとLaravelのバージョンは以下の通り。

$ php -v
PHP 7.0.25 (cli) (built: Oct 27 2017 12:56:53) ( NTS )

$ laravel -V

筆者の環境だとphpのバージョンが5.4と古かったので、7にアップデートしました。

$ brew update
$ brew install homebrew/php/php70
$ echo "export PATH=$(brew --prefix homebrew/php/php70)/bin:$PATH" >> ~/.bash_profile
$ source ~/.bash_profile

brewコマンドが入っていない方はこちらを実行してインストールをしてください。

$ xcode-select --install
$ /usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"

brewのインストールに問題がないか確認。

$ brew doctor
$ brew -v

Composerのインストール

$ brew install homebrew/php/composer
$ composer -V
Composer version 1.5.2 2017-09-11 16:59:25

後々調べたら、composerをインストールした時にphp70もインストールしてくれるみたいですね。

Laravelのインストール

まずはcomposerでLaravelをインストールして、パスを通す。

$ composer global require "laravel/installer=~1.1"

プロジェクトの新規作成

laravel new laravelapp のコマンドでLaravelの新規プロジェクトを作成！

とコマンドを打ちましたが、失敗しているっぽい。。。

サーバを起動してアクセスしてみる。

$ cd laravelapp
$ php artisan serve

http://127.0.0.1:8000/

「Whoops, looks like something went wrong」 と表示される。 上手くいっていないみたいです。

再インストール

調べてみると、predisというライブラリが足りなかったみたいなので、 ライブラリをインストールしてキャッシュを削除し、 再インストールをしたら上手くいきました！

$ composer require predis/predis
$ composer clear-cache
$ composer update
Loading composer repositories with package information
Updating dependencies (including require-dev)
Nothing to install or update
